A major payroll and benefits solutions company implemented a new software service for its customers and needed to develop on-demand training as part of the rollout. The timing was tight and the new software required users to have access to uncomplicated just in time instruction.
LTS was asked to provide an experienced instructional designer that had both Instructional Design experience and eLearning Development experience using Storyline 360. The client needed a Designer who could establish rapport and credibility with a team of busy Product SMEs and quickly translate that information into a detailed Learning Design. In addition the consultant would then need to quickly jump into eLearning development once the Design was approved. The LTS consultant proposed to quickly develop a Micro-Learning video series using Storyline and Camtasia utilizing voice narration, screen animations, and audio soundtracks.
In an extremely short period of time, the LTS consultant was able to quickly work with the client SME and Product Development team to become familiar with the new software content and how and why the end user would need to interface with it. The client was impressed with the Design and Development of the Training content and was relieved that the training was able to be delivered alongside the new software with their go-live initiatives.
